SFSH : Amanda Bergman
Doors 1:30pm | Show 2pm
Swedish singer-songwriter Amanda Bergman is known for her warm, raspy voice and deeply emotive music. Initially performing under the pseudonyms Hajen and Idiot Wind, she rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of Amason, the acclaimed supergroup featuring Pontus Winnberg (Miike Snow), Gustav Ejstes (Dungen), Nils Törnqvist, and Petter Winnberg — now her husband and musical collaborator. In 2016, Amanda released her critically acclaimed solo debut Docks, earning praise from artists like Justin Vernon and Adam Granduciel.
Though eight years have passed, Amanda has remained creatively active — releasing music with Amason, founding the rural concert venue Rockbonden, and launching her own record label, CowCow, from the farm she runs with Petter. Her journey has also included personal challenges, including struggles with mental health. On June 7, 2024, she released her long-awaited second solo album Your Hand Forever Checking On My Fever, marking a bold new chapter in her career.
