Pontious Pilate & The Naildrivers are an eight-piece ska-punk band that burst onto the scene in 1999 from Cork, Ireland. Fueled by a shared love for the high energy, powerful messages, and pure fun of ska and punk, they have carved out a unique space for themselves in the Irish music landscape.
For years, the band has been independently writing, performing, and releasing their own music, cultivating a loyal and ever-expanding fanbase across the country. Their dynamic live shows have earned them spots on stages alongside legendary acts like The Undertones, Bad Manners, The Skatalites, The Beat, and The Selecter. They are also a regular fixture on the festival circuit, with notable appearances at Electric Picnic, Sea Sessions, Spraoi, Cork Jazz Festival, City of Derry Jazz Festival, It Takes A Village, and the Irish International Ska & Reggae Festival.
