Mossie The Band bring an easy, laid-back groove straight out of Cork City. With a soft spot for the late-60s/early-70s greats — James Brown, Grant Green, Donald Byrd — we let those sounds guide something warm, soulful and full of feel.
Expect tight rhythm work, steady funk pulses and organs, keys and guitars all locking in without making a big show of it. Just proper groove, the way Mossie likes it.
And after a few years off the stage, word is Mossie finally gave the nod for a return. No one’s ever seen him — but somehow he still calls the shots. We play the tunes, he minds the vibe.
