Artist and art teacher Áine Andrews returns with another series of lectures on Famous Paintings and their Hidden Histories. In each lecture, Áine will focus on a particular painting to recount its history, as well as that of the artist and their story.   The lectures can be attended as a series, but are also designed as standalone talks, which can be attended individually.   In Spring 2026, Áine will discuss the following paintings:   Tuesday 3 March: The Goldfish Bowl by Walter Osborne, Crawford Collection, Cork  Tuesday 10 March: Les Demoiselles d’Avignon by Pablo Picasso, MoMA, New York  PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL NOT BE A LECTURE ON TUESDAY 17 MARCH, ST PATRICK'S DAY Tuesday 24 March: Top of the Hill by Grace Henry, Limerick Gallery of Art   Tuesday 31 March: Ecce Homo by Titian, National Gallery Dublin   Tuesday 7 April: Self Portrait by Gwen John, National Portrait Gallery London   Tuesday 14 April: Symphony in White, No. 2: The Little White Girl by James McNeill Whistler, Tate Britain London
