We welcome Mary Bragg, “Americana Queen” (Vice/Noisey).
Mary Bragg, heralded by NPR for her “gorgeously crafted and executed songs,” is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter and producer originally from the small town of Swainsboro, Georgia. Her “exquisite vocal performances” (Folk Alley), paired with a “refined, sumptuously melancholy take on Southern storytelling” (World Cafe), propel listeners toward a vulnerable candor where self-examination is welcome.
NPR dubbed her breakout 2017 release, Lucky Strike, one of the year’s best, while her 2019 follow-up, Violets as Camouflage, earned similar praise. The Nashville Scene called it “magnificent,” and Rolling Stone hailed its “gentle chamber-pop.”
Her forthcoming album was produced by John Paul White and Ben Tanner at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and is set for release in 2026
